Custom Packaging
Products, quantities and project options
What types of packaging can RestoPack customize?
We customize takeout containers, food boxes, wrapping paper, bags, cups, coffee pouches, bakery packaging, stickers, labels, napkins, insulated delivery bags and more. If you do not see what you need, send us your specifications for a custom sourcing review.
What is the minimum order quantity for custom packaging?
MOQs vary by product, size, material and printing method. Some products may start from 50–500 units, while fully customized packaging may require 1,000–10,000 units.
Can I order multiple sizes or designs?
Yes. Multiple sizes, colors and artwork versions may be available in one project, but the MOQ may apply separately to each size or design. We will recommend the most cost-effective arrangement.
Can you help me choose the right packaging?
Yes. Tell us the product dimensions or capacity, contents, storage conditions and whether it will be used for hot, cold, frozen, oily or liquid foods. We can recommend a suitable material and structure.
Artwork & Proofs
Files, revisions and print approval
What artwork files do you accept?
Vector artwork is preferred. Recommended formats include AI, EPS, editable PDF and SVG. High-resolution PNG or PSD files may also work depending on the project.
Will I receive a proof before production?
Yes. We provide a digital production proof for approval. Please check the artwork, spelling, colors, dimensions, placement and specifications carefully. Production begins only after final approval.
How many proof revisions are included?
Orders of $500 or less include up to 3 revisions. Orders over $500 include up to 5 revisions. Additional revisions are $20 each. Corrections of a RestoPack error do not count toward this limit.
Will the printed colors exactly match my screen?
Screen colors and digital proofs may vary slightly from final print because of display settings, material, finish, ink and printing method. For important brand colors, provide a Pantone reference and ask about physical sampling.
Samples
Review materials before a bulk order
Can I request samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes. Stock and custom samples are available for selected products. Stock samples help you review material, structure, size and general print quality, but normally do not include your logo.
How much does sample shipping cost?
Sample shipping typically costs $29.99–$59.99, depending on the number of samples, package weight, destination and delivery method.
Do you offer custom printed samples?
Yes. Custom sample production is available for selected products and typically starts from $100. Shipping may be charged separately.
How long does a custom sample take?
Custom sample production normally takes approximately 10–15 business days after payment and artwork confirmation. Shipping time is additional.
Production
Lead times and quantity tolerances
What is the standard production time?
Standard production normally takes approximately 10–15 business days after payment, final proof approval and confirmation of all specifications. Complex or unusually large projects may take longer.
Is production time included in the shipping estimate?
No. Production and shipping times are calculated separately. A project with 10–15 business days of production and 10–15 business days of air shipping may take approximately 20–30 business days in total.
Do custom orders have a quantity tolerance?
A small overrun or underrun may occur during custom manufacturing. Any applicable tolerance and settlement method will be stated in the quotation, proof, invoice or order agreement. Tell us before ordering if you require an exact quantity.
Shipping & DDP Delivery
Door-to-door international fulfillment
Do you offer door-to-door DDP shipping?
Yes. When DDP is included in your quote, the shipping price covers transportation, customs clearance, applicable import duties and delivery to the confirmed address. Any exclusions or special-delivery fees will be disclosed when applicable.
What shipping methods are available?
Estimated transit times, excluding production:
- Expedited Air DDP: about 5–7 business days
- Standard Air DDP: about 10–15 business days
- Sea DDP: about 35–40 days
Times are estimates and may be affected by customs, weather, carriers and port conditions.
Can I combine air and sea shipping?
Yes. We can often send an urgent portion by air and the balance by sea to help you balance speed and cost. Availability depends on the product, quantity and destination.
Where does RestoPack ship?
We ship throughout the continental United States and can arrange delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and selected international destinations. Cost and timing depend on the order and destination.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. Tracking is provided when available. For sea DDP, final-mile tracking may only become available after customs clearance and handoff to the local carrier.
Materials & Food Use
Safety, sustainability and performance
Are your packaging products food safe?
Products intended for direct food contact use materials selected for their intended application. Available compliance and test documents vary by product and market. Tell us before ordering if you require specific documentation.
Do you offer eco-friendly packaging?
Yes. Options may include recyclable, biodegradable, compostable, kraft paper, sugarcane fiber and PLA-coated materials. Claims and certifications vary by product and local disposal system.
Are products suitable for hot, cold or frozen foods?
Suitable options are available, but performance varies by material. Tell us the food type, temperature, heating, freezing, oil, sauce, storage and transportation conditions so we can recommend the right structure.
Changes, Returns & Claims
What happens after approval and delivery
Can I change or cancel a custom order?
Only before artwork approval or production begins. After the final proof is approved and production starts, custom orders normally cannot be changed, canceled, returned or refunded unless defective.
Can custom products be returned?
Custom-printed and made-to-order products are non-returnable unless defective or materially different from the approved specifications. Normal color and manufacturing tolerances are not generally considered defects.
What should I do if my order is damaged or defective?
Contact us promptly with your order number, photos or videos, affected quantity, shipping labels and carton photos. Keep the products and original packaging while we review the claim.
Payments & Quotes
Preparing an accurate custom quote
When is payment required?
Full payment is normally required before proof preparation, sampling, production or shipment unless other terms are agreed in writing. Your quote or invoice will show the applicable schedule.
What information do you need for a quote?
Send the product type, size or capacity, quantity, number of designs, material, printing requirements, optional features, delivery ZIP code or destination, required date and artwork files.
Can I apply for sales tax exemption?
Eligible businesses may submit a valid resale or exemption certificate for review. It must be approved and applied before checkout or payment.
